Hi! It’s me!. Again. This seems to be my standard introduction of late. Oops. I’m really not sure why blogging is such a struggle for me lately. Anyways, if there ever was a materialistic thing to blog about, getting my first (yes, first) Louis Vuitton bag would definitely be at the top of the list. After all, I jokingly refer to it as my “keeping up with the Joneses” purse.

It was my 16th Wedding Anniversary gift and we bought it on November, 17, 2018. Clearly, I am on top of posting in a timely manner.

Super funny story about the purse – originally I was thinking I wouldn’t carry it on the days I subbed and my husband convinced me that would just be silly. I earned it and it’s no secret I sub for fun, so why hide something we’ve worked hard to afford. Good point. So, yes, I carry my Louise when I sub. However, the funny part is the number of middle school BOYS who comment about it. Not girls. At least once a day I have a boy OOOH and AAAH. over it. Who knew 11-14 year old boys cared about Louis Vuitton?

Which on did I choose?!

It took a few tries to find one that would fit nicely on the back of my chair and not rub on the wheels. The handles would either be too short or too fat or the bag itself would be too wide (or too small). I finally settled not he Medium Neverfull in the original monogram print. I really wanted the Damier Azure (blue checks) but decided it might be dirty too easily. One of these days I will have something in that print. Maybe a wallet and maybe for my 40th birthday? (Hint – Hint, if you are reading this, babe!)

Anyways, after about an hour of trying on multiple Louise Vuitton purses, I settled on a classic. The inside is hot pink and absolutely perfect. You know how much I love my hot pink, right?

The angle is a bit off in this picture, I promise it does not hit my spokes of my tires. So if you are hoping to buy your first Louis, I definitely suggest starting with this bag.
