I really miss blogging just for the sake of blogging. You know, the posts where I just post the daily mundane things going on in our lives. I’m honestly not sure if anyone is reading anymore, but that’s okay, I really don’t mind talking to myself. Ha-ha.

So what have we been up to? Well, school started last Thursday (13th) so we are officially a week into virtual learning. Things are going relatively well. The oldest two are completely independent and the youngest, understandably, needs some guidance. Overall, it’s been good. My oldest decided to drop marching band, which we are a little sad about, but given the circumstances, it just wasn’t as enjoyable. He decided to add a third AP class to his workload. At this rate, he will probably start college as a sophomore.

Of Course there always has to be something bad to go with it good, Right?

One of Our air-conditioning units went out in the middle of the night. So Tuesday, Charlie spent time getting quotes on either fixing or replacing things. As expected, it’s too old to repair, so we have to replace it. We decided to go ahead and replace both units at the same time because the other hasn’t really been performing as well as it should anyways. Oh, the joys of homeownership. Replacing an air conditioning unit is always very painful, and this time we have two. Ouch.

In style news, the Nordstrom Anniversary sale went live this week. Normally I would be super ecstatic and screaming from the rooftops, but due to the air-conditioning circumstances I didn’t shop for myself. I did get Charlie a another pair of his favorite shoes because they were 60% off and number three outgrew the last pair of shoes so I ordered another pair, one size up.
