I’m coming up on my 19th spinal cord injury anniversary. How is that even possible?!

Mid-May was my half way point and I officially crossed over to using a wheelchair longer than I ever walked. I’m okay with that. I’ve built an amazing life for myself and I could not ask for more.

I was reading an article about hand cycles recently and I decided that I absolutely needed one in my life. I’m getting older and the weight is starting to creep up on me and that’s not something I am okay with. A handcycle is the PERFECT solution.

Guess what?! I found on craig’s list! Even better? I know the girl selling it! I’ve used it a few times but it’s still in the 90s at 7-8 PM so for now it sits until the weather is cooler and more bearable but I am VERY excited about upcoming family bike rides!
