Not long ago, we went to L’oco D’Oro for a friend’s birthday. The food was amazing and the company even better. I think our dinner lasted 4 hours. Seriously.
We all did the pasta tasting, drank wine and just enjoyed each other’s company without the kids. It’s was a rare moment. It was just what the doctor ordered after some bad news Charlie received earlier in the day.
The weather in Central Texas has been close to unbearable so this palm print maxi was just perfection for the occasion.
I picked it up earlier this summer at a local boutique, just for this occasion.
B. Sweet is owned by the most adorable, bubbly lady you will ever meet. I love her Facebook lives. No this post isn’t sponsored. I really adore B, very much! She’s fabulous with my brows to so visiting her shop is always a win.
The dress material is light and stretchy and ooooh so comfortable. It was made for Texas summers.
One thing you will VERY quickly learn is I love a bargain. I would say 90% of my wardrobe is from Goodwill. I am not ashamed to save money.
That being said I do occasionally splurge. I had a visa gift card from a previous blogging gig sitting unused in my wallet. The shame, I know. I think it was sitting, waiting for this day and this dress.
If your ever in Pflugerville be sure to stop by B. Sweet (it’s on 685!) and tell them Priscilla said to say hello!
I will be back next week with an update on the first week of school. I can’t believe my boys go back tomorrow. I’m so sad.
